The History Of Keep Kleen

Keep Kleen, LLC is not a franchise or big box company with hundreds employees. Keep Kleen Dryer Vent Cleaning is a purely family owned and operated business with its roots in Central and Eastern Virginia. In 2001, former firefighter and Paramedic Bryan Sanderson founded "Restore Dryer Vent Cleaning" of Williamsburg, Virginia and served residents from Williamsburg to Yorktown and Newport News. However, due to a medical disability in 2013 which prevented Bryan from continuing, Bryan then passed the baton to his brother Mark. 

Mark, a then 22 year Security Administrator near Richmond Virginia had also founded the part-time dryer vent cleaning service "Keep Kleen" of Chesterfield Virginia in 2010. It wasn't until his brother Bryan's sudden disability in 2013 that Mark chose to leave the Security industry altogether, and enter into the  commercial and residential dryer vent cleaning business, full time. In late 2013, Mark absorbed his brother Bryan's service area in Williamsburg and expanded the service from Richmond down the I-64 Corridor to Yorktown, Virginia. 

Both Bryan and Mark are natives of Eastern Virginia. Both grew up in Williamsburg Virginia and graduated from Williamsburg Schools in the mid 1980's. In the late 1980's, Mark relocated to the Richmond Virginia area to pursue other goals. He returned to the Williamsburg area in 2014.

In 2020, Mark decided to retire from the service side of Dryer Vent Cleaning, and now fills the administrative position at Keep Kleen - passing the vast majority of the company to his son Aaron, who has been cleaning, repairing and re-venting dryer vents since 2012.
